Theon, the last known man "of the Mouseion"

Known · Attested

Theon observes eclipses in 364 and writes commentaries on Euclid and Ptolemy. The Suda calls him "the man from the Mouseion", the last person known to be connected with it.

What the evidence supports: Whether the Mouseion still met as a body in his day, and where, is unknown.
